Summer is Fading

This time of year has always brought a bit of melancholy with it to me. I suspect this is an acknowledgment that Summer is over and it’s time to get back to work. My remedy for this feeling has been to focus on what energy I can take from the time I have enjoyed in the Summer and carry it forward into my work and relationships. The joy we have experienced in times of play and outdoor activities can be recalled and brought forward for future use. What emotional and physical energies have you stored up for the Fall and Winter ahead? How might you bring them forward and to what purpose? Life is by nature cyclical. We must utilize the highs to survive and optimize the lows.
