FOUNDATIONS OF TEAMWORK

“It is critical to know who is ‘on your rope’ when you are climbing. You need to know both their capabilities and limitations. You must trust one another and be willing to speak openly and honestly about how you are doing in order to safely achieve your goal.”

Teamwork is fundamental to excellence in many businesses, and critical in climbing.

Whether your team is made up of 2 people or 22, understanding what makes a great team great – and how to to develop those competencies in a practical way – is a powerful but uncommon skill.

This facilitation focuses on how teams build trust and psychological safety, which allows your team to engage in constructive conflict and reach commitment. These are the ingredients of true accountability and high functioning teams, and it all begins with trust.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This facilitation is achieved in a 2-4-hour workshop, depending on the size of group.

There will be some pre-facilitation reading to prepare your team and to set expectations. You can also expect some group participation or even some role playing – it’s helpful to challenge our comfort zones just a little in order to test these relationships.
