TEAMWORK PROBLEM-SOLVING

“Every adventure involves tasks that must be shared: setting up camp, packing your kit, anchoring protection – even cleaning up requires cooperation, trust and a shared language to ensure common understanding and purpose.”

We all have issues with team performance, but many of us lack the tools needed for course-correction or successful problem-prevention.

Mistakes happen, which is part of what makes us human. Whether or not we learn from them is our challenge – and choice – as leaders.

In this facilitation we explore the power of developing and using standard language to flatten the hierarchy in your team and build psychological safety. We discuss “just culture” principles as a mechanism to explore errors and develop tools to get your team back on track and make course-corrections when things go wrong.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This facilitation is achieved in a 2-4-hour workshop, depending on the size of group. Follow-up sessions are available as needed.

There will be some pre-facilitation reading and questions to answer in order to make the most of our time together; expect to spend 1-2 hours on this in preparation for the workshop.

You can also expect some group participation or even some role playing – it’s helpful to challenge our comfort zones just a little in order to test these relationships.
