Life Happens

Great leaders know when to acknowledge that “life happens." When significant events occur, either good or bad, it is important for leaders to acknowledge the event but to empathize and support their people and the community they live in. All organizations have a social contract with their communities and part of that contract involves being there to support and help when needed, to the degree that we can. Our employees know this too. It may go unspoken but there is an expectation of citizenship and support.
